We praise You, our Father and God,
For Your Son who came down from the throne,
And Your Spirit that You have bestowed
To tell us what Jesus has done.
We praise You that once He appeared
To put sin forever away
By Himself, as the Victim that bled
For us who had all gone astray.
We praise You His work is complete,
And He has been raised by Your hand,
While in righteousness now we can meet,
And accepted before You we stand.
We praise You that now by His blood
He has entered for us into heaven
To appear in the presence of God,
Since the veil by Your hand has been torn.
We praise You that Jesus is near,
That He in His glory will come;
For salvation He soon will appear,
His waiting ones all gathered home.
